Where is no promised specification for minerals and rocks... Rocks tab is absolutely same apps like Rocks&Gems... This app have information only for USA and very limited info for BC (Canada).
Very good
If youre looking for an app with descriptions and measurements of minerals (hardness, specific gravity, cleavage angles, form, etc.) then this is a good one for you. It allows you to break down the list into categories, favorite the minerals you want to come back to, and search for a specific one. Its simple to navigate and it allows you to find specific information very easily. Great app overall.
Very Good
I like the information provided. The pictures are good quality. Id like to see more pictures of what these rocks and gems look like in the wild , as i am a rock hound and appreciate all the help i can get. Thx!
Good start
First thing I noticed is that it does not have amethyst. Really? Also, picture zoom does not zoom. Image is the same size. Only the rest of the app background whites out. Needs to support pinch gestures to zoom pictures.
